Counselling placements at Fleet
We recruit volunteer counsellors for a well-established, friendly team in North London.
What we are looking for
- Qualified as a counsellor or psychotherapist, or training on a UKCP or BACP accredited course
- Over 200 supervised client hours
- Able to commit for a minimum of two years
- Available on Tuesday evenings, 6–8pm

About the placement
Fleet is an affordable, community-based service and a registered charity, set up in 1987 and originally supporting students at the Fleet Community Education Centre. We now see a wide range of clients, most of whom self-refer or come via GP surgeries and local community agencies.
Clients are asked for a regular donation, negotiated individually according to their ability to pay, and each is offered up to 24 counselling sessions. We are an organisational member of the BACP.
